My Reflection(Second Gradimg)

Every end has a new beginning. First grading was done, second grading comes after it. I have many things that have learned this grading period.

This quarter is more exciting than the past because we focused on tags. We used the notepad for our hands–on activities. We knew about the two types of tags, the stand-alone tag and the container tag. In applying each tag, we should be very careful so that the effect we wanted to see in our text would be powerful. I enjoyed our hands-on activities because I know that I did all the activities given to us with all my effort and thank God I finished all of them on time.

On the cleaning matter, my group mates were all responsible and cooperative when our time comes in cleaning the computer room. No one created bad record this time. I hope that they will not change their attitudes as time passes by. I, as a leader will always be a good follower of them even though my partner, Mourice Purugganan already left us.

I could say that I understood all the lessons given to us this quarter that’s why I’ll not forget about tags for me to apply in my future needs. I would strive harder this time.

Promoting Digital Literacy Through English Proficiency

Now we are living in modern world wherein manual works are out of the new. We are surrounded by high tech things already which can we call as a short cut way on doing things in life but are these high tech things a friend or a foe?

English, as we all know, is our Universal Language. It is being use by us in communicating to other people living in other countries. High tech things are being use by us humans which makes our works easier and faster. Students like me, usually surfs the net to gather some pieces of information regarding our studies, in this way, we are training ourselves to be proficient in English because the computer programs are in English language. Computer which is connected with internet is very useful because all the reference materials which are manually used are all compiled here, all we gonna do only is to type what we are looking for and at a glance, the computer will show us what we are looking for. In this way, more things about English are being known by us but if we abuse what computer could do nothing good will happen to us.

We should use digital literacy through English proficiency in order for us to gain more knowledge. We should use our English skills in digital literacy in right way for us to move forward and for us to lift up ourselves.

My Teacher, My Hero

Even though we face the difficulties of today, I still have a dream for tomorrow. It is a dream deeply rooted through the magnificent job of a teacher.

If others ask about teachers, the image we draw in our minds is that a man or woman wearing eyeglasses, holding a stick and talking in front of the class. We are actually right but there are characteristics also that cannot be seen by our naked eyes but could be feel by our hearts. Every day, we always meet our teachers to add the knowledge they are giving us day by day but sometimes we just ignore their efforts for us instead of thanking them. They sacrifice their time for their family to teach us. They serve as our parents in school, if we have problems , they are always there to comfort us and never let us down. We owe our knowledge to them. Without them, maybe we know nothing starting from 123, ABC and now we are far away from those basic things and as we go to more difficult lessons, our teachers are always there to guide and teach us.

Without teachers there won’t be doctors, nurses, engineers and other experts. They are the mothers/fathers of all the difficult profession.They could never be surpassed by us for they are the ones who gave knowledge to us.

We owe our teachers for who we are today and what we’ll be tomorrow. We, the students write our own future through the help of our heroes, our teachers. We should thank them for the knowledge we have. A salute for all the teachers!!!

My Unbeatable Heroes

Who do you consider as your hero? Why did you consider him/her as a hero?
Every person has their own idol or hero.I consider my parents as my heroes because of their hardships and sacrifices for me and for my siblings to study. They are the ones who are guiding me in my everyday life, they never let me down. Even though other people do not accept me for who I am, they are the ones who always accept me and the ones who discipline me for the wrong things I am doing. I am giving my best in my studies to fulfill my dreams for them. I want to have a better life someday to make them happy and proud. I admire them for what they are and who they are.
Though they can't fly just like the other heroes, I consider them as my unbeatable heroes because they will never be beaten in my heart. no one can replace them because of the love and care they are showing me and I thank God very much for having them.

End Of The Beginning

Gaining knowledge and wisdom are the main goals of an individual in attending classes, and in the first grading of this school year I've already learned many things especially of being in the eldest year of secondary.

I've learn to be a responsible leader especially when our group in ICT IV is the one which is the cleaner. I have also learn to gain my self confidence, and I learned this when we had our reporting about the internet architecture and most especially I the knowledge about the different things which we had tackled in this grading period.

Being a student, we encounter many troubles in our studies which we call our problems.There are also problems which I have experience especially time pressure because when our teachers are giving us assignments or activities time is not enough for me and also for my fellow students to do it nicely.In cleaning the computer room where we are having our class, I sometimes face some troubles because some of my groupmates are not cleaning.

I did address my problem in time pressure by means of time management and I think it is nice to have a schedule for my activities to balance my time efficiently.I have also did my move regarding my problem on being the cleaner group because I've already tell my groupmates about the cleaning matter.

Moving on I will continue my good start of this school year and will double my efforts to surpass what I have done on this grading.

SONA

Every President of the republic of the Philippines has its own SONA or the State Of the Nation Address for them to express their thoughts and plans for the progress of our country, it is also their time to make their report to their countrymen what they had done for the country's progress.

The 15th President of the Philippines, President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III delivered his second SONA on July 25, 2011. He was very proud to report to us about what he had done for our country's sake. In his SONA, he talked about lessening the number of imported rice by our country because when it is not use it will just be rotten, farming is one of the Filipino's common occupation which proves that we do not need much rice to be imported. He also touched about the lessening number of Filipinos who are suffering from hunger because of his "dagdag trabaho" program. Most of all his main topic is about the corrupt officials which he called as the wang-wang officials, he said that he will not tolerate what they are doing. I'm very happy for his accomplishments because these serves as the basis that we are moving forward already. I also felt dismayed because he didn't talk about education which is needed by me and my fellow youth living in this country.

President Aquino should be the model of his fellow public servants, they should have unity on thinking for the goodness of our country. Work hand in hand for us to move forward.

Isulong Ang Breastfeeding: Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo

While the mother is feeding her baby with her breast milk, caress is the only feeling that can be feel which can't never be felt by none.

Mothers carry their babies for nine months, so, they want to have healthy lifestyle and body. Breastfeeding is very helpful for babies especially for the newborn ones. Breast milk of mothers contains the complete nutrients needed by babies for their growth and development. Nutritious foods should have been taken by mothers before and after giving births for their babies for them to ensure that the breast milk they will be giving to their babies will help them in maintaining their good health. With the theme: "Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo", mothers should engage their selves in breast feeding because it nurtures the babies growth and development and contributes a lot for the financial aspect, if mothers will buy commercial milks for their babies, they will not save money for commercial milk brands are expensive and they are not if the nutrients present in it are powerful as the nutrients in mommy's breast milk. So , the breast milk which is exclusively for babies should be taken good care for them to suffer its goodness.

Breastfeeding for babies is one way of showing the love of the mother which helps them having a healthy body and will have a brighter future without undue sickness.
